M-STEP Information
The dates for the M-STEP are listed above. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will be absent on one of these days. In 3rd grade the students take the English Language Arts and Mathematics M-STEP tests. The tests will be taken on the computer. On these days it is important that your child has had a good night's rest and eats a healthy, hearty breakfast. Your child is also welcome to bring a water bottle to school. Please remind your child that the testing is not a reflection of who they are as a person, but rather the school uses the information to help the teachers make good decisions about their instruction. There is no reason for them to stress! We try to make the testing sessions as relaxed as possible and provide extra recess and treats often! There is a practice test available online: http://eastlansingpd.weebly.com/practice-test.html Just make sure that you are using Google Chrome! More information regarding the M-STEP will be coming home as we get closer to the test dates.
