I enjoyed meeting many of you at Open House this past Thursday. I am so grateful to have such warm, friendly, caring, and supportive families! Here are a couple of reminders from the curriculum night:
1) If you have not yet signed up for parent-teacher conferences either online or at the open house, please do so ASAP.
2) Please make sure to correct and sign your child's homework nightly.
3) Please make sure to send your child to school with a healthy snack DAILY.
Lastly, but very importantly, I have been seeing that children have been looking very sleepy the past few school days. I know that it take some time to get into the new schedule and routines of the school year (I am still getting used to the new sleep schedule myself!), but please try to make sure your child gets a good night's rest each night. Having 8-10 hours of sleep is vital for young children to be able to function, concentrate, focus, and work hard.
