A Note About Homework
Math homework will be sent home Monday-Thursday. The math homework should not take longer than 10-15 minutes. If the homework is causing stress, tears, or frustration, please feel free to write us a note on the homework and we will support your child here at school. Throughout the week as you see fit, please try to encourage your child to read, practice their math facts, and study their spelling words.
Please know that your child's happiness and learning are of utmost important to us. You know your child better than anyone else. If the homework or studying practices are causing unnecessary stress or anxiety, please do not continue them. Let us know how we can support your child. Our job and our passion is supporting and loving your children. We will do whatever it takes to make sure that they are happy and learning!
Please know that I am always free to speak or meet with you at any time! I want to have a positive school-home connection and I look forward to partnering with you this year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Bean and Ms. Hedin
